The Jushengding RDF production line processes municipal solid waste, industrial waste and waste plastics into high-calorific RDF fuel through multi-stage shredding, intelligent sorting and efficient drying. The core drying and pelletizing module uses waste-heat recovery to cut energy use markedly, producing standard RDF pellets adjustable from 30–80 mm. The line integrates intelligent controls and pulse dust collection, holding dust emissions below 10 mg/m³ and noise below 75 dB.

Compression Forming Process

The RDF line converts mixed solid waste into high-calorific fuel through intelligent sorting and efficient conversion. Feedstock passes two shredding stages (100–150 mm, then 30–50 mm) before air, magnetic and optical sorting remove metals and contaminants precisely. The core drying system uses waste-heat recovery to bring moisture from 30% down to below 15%. High-pressure pelletizing produces standard 20–30 mm pellets with calorific value stable at 4,000–5,500 kcal/kg. The full line runs under PLC control with three-stage environmental treatment (dust collection + activated carbon + scrubbing) for automated operation and ultra-low emissions (compliant with EU 2000/76/EC). The enclosed design keeps noise below 75 dB, flexible modules adapt to different feedstocks, and finished pellets are inspected in-line and packed automatically — clean alternative fuel for cement and power plants.

Feedstock Collection

The Jushengding RDF production line processes a wide range of solid waste feedstocks: combustible fractions of municipal solid waste such as organics, paper and textiles; packaging and cardboard from commercial sources; and non-hazardous industrial residues and packaging waste. The system is particularly suited to thermoplastics such as PP, PE and PS (excluding PVC), and also handles demolition wood, furniture-factory offcuts, agricultural residues such as straw and nut shells, and waste cotton, linen and synthetic textiles. All feedstock passes strict manual picking and mechanical screening before entering the line, fully excluding hazardous waste, heavy-metal-contaminated material and other non-processable components. For regional differences in feedstock, we provide customized pre-treatment schemes and blending recommendations — keeping intake flexible while ensuring the finished RDF meets stable calorific and environmental standards. A purpose-designed intelligent sorting system identifies and separates feedstock components automatically for optimal conversion efficiency.

As a standardized, high-calorific clean fuel, RDF (refuse-derived fuel) serves a broad range of industrial energy and environmental applications. Cement plants burn it directly in rotary kilns as an alternative fuel, cutting fossil fuel consumption significantly; coal-fired power plants co-fire it as auxiliary fuel to optimize their energy mix; and industrial boiler systems of all kinds can run on RDF as a primary heat source for steam and thermal energy. In district heating, RDF gives central heating stations a stable, dependable fuel — especially in municipal waste-to-resource projects. It also substitutes for conventional fuels in high-temperature processes such as metallurgy and chemicals. As environmental policy tightens, RDF is becoming the core route for waste-to-energy utilization, helping energy-intensive industries meet emission targets while generating solid returns — a renewable energy form with real potential in the circular economy.
